In this room we have to wait for the donut block to fall down. We position ourselves on the third skull of the skeleton roller coaster as this loads the spring on the top here in a way which allows mario to grab it fast. We need to get this spring so that we are able to cheese the boss-fight later https://thecartepostale.com/video-games-that-predicted-the-future-2018/.
Here we only have to run and jump for a little bit until we reach this area. We fall down here on purpose as this path is a little bit faster than the one at the top. Here we try to jump off from the skeleton roller coaster at the right moment to save a few precious frames and then we reach the boss, and finally find out why we got the spring earlier in the stage. Once we leave the boss fight we only need to go through another pipe and we’re done! Beating this boss fast is really difficult and it took me a lot of tries to get such a good run, but was it finally fast enough to beat one of your times? It wasn’t, again. Actually it’s a really bad time as I’m more than three seconds away from the world record. You wonderful people are so incredibly fast! Anyways congratulations to sonictails again, for getting another entry on the PFTCL. So once again I tried to find out where I lost more than three seconds during this run, and once again it’s a lot of little things which add up over time. Here I could have jumped a little bit higher to carry the boost for a few more frames, which probably saves about a quarter of a second. Here I could have jumped off from the skeleton platform a little bit earlier to save a few frames and here I hit this small bridge which which costs a little bit of time as well. This part is pretty good but here I loose a few frames again by jumping not high enough from the conveyor belt and here I lost a little bit of time by not starting to run to the right soon enough before jumping. The biggest time loss of this run is probably here as I turn around for a moment in order to throw the spring. Throwing the spring while running is probably about a second faster. And this was the moment when I realized that there was only one stage left for me to get a world record. This left me worried, I really wanted to get a record this time. So I started to run our last level and my first run took me two and a half minutes, and then I saw the record on this stage. What was going on? There had to be a shortcut. After doing a little bit of detective work I found a shortcut right after the first checkpoint which skips the the hole sub-world and the bowser jr boss fight. The problem was that I needed to get a yoshi in order to make it to this door. No matter how hard I tried I was still more than 25 seconds away of the world record even with this shortcut. But then I realized that I don’t need yoshi to make this jump, as it is possible to reach the door with a simple, though incredibly precise wall jump. I was only 15 seconds away anymore. Than I realized that it’s possible to skip the hole checkpoint area by jumping through these sawblades off from the back of yoshi. Only ten seconds away. Then I found out that there is a star hidden in this stage. A star makes mario run faster and this jump off from yoshi's back, way easier. Only five seconds left. And then I finally found out how the world record holder did it. It’s actually possible to get through these sawblades while mario has a star, as spinning in the air while having a star gives mario a ton of additional horizontal movement. I was finally able to run against the world record. At first we need to get the star. We wall jump off from this question block as it is faster than jumping on it and wait for the star to reach an area where mario can catch it. Here we say hi to the platform which brings us to the next area, and then we say goodbye to the platform which brings us to the next area, we do the skip which took me so long to find and we are actually done and we are actually done with the stage. So was it this run? Was this run finally the first time I was able to beat one of your times? Argh… not again? Congratulations to yt_bluex2 for getting the world record. You’re time is really really good. And congratulations to all people who managed to beat me so far. These are the levels for the next speedrun-challenge, I hope you have fun racing them and I can’t wait to loose against your amazing times once more. These levels are all traditional cave stages, though one of them is a little bit less of an traditional cave stage, but an amazing level for speedrunning anyways. The challenge after the next one will be about airship stages. So if you have any cool airship level which you’d like to see in the next challenge leave me an ID in the comments! I hope you enjoyed this little video and that you have a wonderful day. Goodbye!

Hello Crafters! Do you remember last years gift machine? This one over here.
This machines is very easy to make. And the truth is that I really loved it because the procedure looked really complicated and, at the end, it's very simple and it always surprises someone. After making that machine I kept on thinking that I'd like to make another functioning machine. So today we're going to make a slot machine like the ones in Las Vegas you pull and "Boom" a lot of coins come out. It's also super easy to make you probably might have the materials at home. And you're always going to surprise someone with this slot machine. I know you're going to love it. Also stay until the end of this video because I'll talk to you about the Valentine's giveaway. So stay until the end. But for now let's start with the tutorial! Let's start with this incredible slot machine. The first thing we'll need is a shoe box. Mine has these measurements. We're going to remove the lid if it's stuck to it. And now we're going to measure a section of approximately 16 cm. These measurements may vary depending on the size of your box. This is going to be the bottom part of your slot machine play here. When we have finished marking it we're going to cut it very carefully using a box cutter. And now we're going to take the smaller piece we have from the other side of the 16 cm. We're going to measure from the edge to the middle 5.5 cm and cut off the remaining middle section. This is to reduce the size of the object so that, when we place it on top of the other one it looks small. Now we're going to draw a window on this piece I want it to be on the middle so I'm going to leave 3 cm on the top, and on the bottom 1 cm on the side and this middle section which in my case it's 4 cm x 5 cm is what I'm going to cut off. And then I'm going to repeat the same thing on the other side. Cut off the middle. And when you connect the pieces you can see the window. Assemble the box. You'll see that one of the tabs fits inside, but the other one doesn't. So we're going to enlarge the hole. Make sure it doesn't reach the side. And we're going to cut it off. Now with our scissors we're going to cut the tab so that it fits inside. And that's it! It fits! This is going to give structure to the top part. Now we just have to reinforce it with cold silicone on this part over here. You can also add a piece of tape so it won't come undone. And now on this lateral side, we're going to mark a 3 cm line. That it's not too high or too low. To be able to make our coin entrance. It could be a smaller entrance if you're going to use smaller coins. Mine is like a 10 pesos coin. We'll go back to working with the bottom part. We're going to cover it up. So I'm going to use cold silicone and a piece of hard cardboard on the top part so it ends up being perfect. then on the front bottom part, we're going to draw the window where the candies will come out. Mine measures 7.5 cm x 4 cm Once I have the rectangle I'm going to round it out with tape. And I'm going to cut it with a box cutter. Tadah! Now the coins and candies can come out from here. Now, on one of the sides, we're going to draw a dot at 5 cm from the top part. And at the middle of the length. I always draw the lines otherwise it ends up being crooked. And I'm going to punch a hole very carefully trying it doesn't end up bigger. And then with a punch tool because it has to be big enough for a pencil to fit in. We need to do this on both sides. And that's it we have the base of our box. Now we're going to make a shape this it should have the width of your box. Remember that I leave you my measurements but yours may very depending on the size of your box. Now we're going to fold this upwards. Like this, so that it looks like a slide for the candies and coins. I'm going to paste it using tacky glue. And I'm going to reinforce it with a piece of tape. Then we're going to use bendable straws the kind that you can bend on the top. We'll move one to the left side and the other one downwards. Can you see? We're going to overlap one in front of the other like this. So now we need to cut off the excess. Straighten up the straws. And now place the small one on the top part. It helps if you fold it on the middle to make it fit inside perfectly. Then get a paper clip and open it. And stick it into the straws. It needs to be between both of the bendable sections. Using scissors can help for sticking it in. Now we're going to fold the bottom part. Towards the top like we did it before. And the other one towards the side. This is going to give it strength and body. That way it won't unfold or become wimpy. This peace will fit inside the box through the holes that we made. Sometimes the straw might not reach the other side so I'm going to use the excess piece we cut off. And I'm going to place it on this side. I'm going to check to see that it goes in. Once it crossed to the other side we need to check if it rotates. And using some scissors cut of the excess. Leave a small piece out so that it won't come out. For the cup where the coins and candies will go, we're going to use a circle of 5.5 cm approximately. I'm going to paste a toilet paper roll with a length of 4 cm, around it. Since it needs more, I'm going to paste another roll on the other side. This is to be able to use recycled materials. You can use cardstock or other things, but this way we're recycling things you have at home. Remember to make the holes across the roll they should have the width of a pencil. You can check by sticking a straw inside. If it fit's, it's perfect for using it in the machine. And now we're going to use another toilet paper roll. Preferably one that has a width of 5 cm. Cut sections with a length of 2.3 cm. These are going to be the reels. We need three of these. So when you rotate them and get three the same you can win a prize. I'm going to cover them up with white cardstock. You just need to make a circle, it doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be slightly bigger. You're going to paste it on both sides sort of like making bangs and paste them towards the middle. And that's it. We need three of these. I'm going to mark the middle with a pencil that way will be easier to make the hole. And then using a skewer stick, I'm going to make the hole carefully. It's very important for the hole to be in the middle otherwise it won't be able to rotate or it'll get stuck on the window and it won't work. Once you punched the holes, we're going to reinforce them with a piece of masking tape on both sides This is to stop the hole from getting bigger because it it's bigger it won't rotate. So add the tape that'll be what reinforces it. Stick them into the stick and check if they rotate. Attention, this next part is very important! To know where we need to make our hole to insert the reels, we need to place them by looking at the window and checking they're right in the middle. Then using the skewer stick make a hole on the side of the box. Not all the way through, just leave a mark to know where it should go. Then using a tack, make the hole make the hole big enough for the stick to fit in. And now you just need to add on the reels. Once you have it from one side to the other, check to see if it rotates. Now we're going to connect our pieces from the bottom parts. It needs to be like this. This is the structure of the machine. We're going to add silicone to add it. And that's it! It kind of looks like a robot but I promise you that we're going to decorate it and it's going to look like a slot machine. For the back part, we're going to make another container this is just the width of a toilet paper roll but it had a lid on the bottom. It's for the coins to fall in. And we have all of the base of the machine. For the back part we're going to use the lid if you machines fits, if not you're going to have to use another shoe box lid that's bigger. I'm using this one over here. And I'm going to draw it's border very carefully. And then I'm going to cut it off. Can you see that I left two tabs on it? One on each side. The bottom one, is the one I'm going to paste on the machine. On the bottom part like this. And for the top one, we'll make this strip which is where it will stick on. Like this. Tadah! And now it closes perfectly. Now we'll head to my favorite part which is the decoration. We're going to use a hot glue gun. To make the embossments of our machine. I'm going to make these lines. Then I'll make dots that'll be like the screws And that's how I'll decorate the whole box. Once the silicon has dried off. We're going to paint the machine. I painted it gray using spray paint. On the inside part is where I'll place this decorated paper. You can download from the page, I'll leave you the link. This is to make it look better when the coins fall. And then I'll cut the downloadables which I'll also leave over here and on the description box. And I'm going to place them on the reels and on cardboard for them to look super cute! For the reels, I recommend you to add on the entire strip and check to see they look perfect. And then paste everything else. Tadah! I'm going to add this red ball on the handle so it kind of look like vintage. And I'm going to stick it in. The add the cup where the coins go and take it to the other side. Check if it rotates. Everything's ready! Lastly we need to add the reels. Cut off the excess of the skewer sticks. And I'm going to decorate it using a bottle lid that has half of a Styrofoam ball on the middle for it to hold up nicely. While we wait for this to dry up completely, we're going to use a sponge and copper or gold paint to give it these vintage or old details. Do this with a little bit of paint so it comes out nicely because if you add too much you'll end up with stains. And start painting the silicone embossments. Ready! Now we'll put everything together. We need to add the cup for the coins. On the cup where the candies go, I recommend you to put tape on both sides so that it rotates nicely. Now you can fill it up with chocolates. Notes. And edible coins. We just need to close it. Stick the coin inside. Spin them. Pull the handle down. And you'll have your surprise! And we have finished this incredible machine. Isn't it awesome to gift to someone? And we have finished our slot machine. I personally liked this design a lot. I wasn't sure it was going to turn out fine but it looks beautiful sort of vintage. And the paint gave it and old bronzy touch. It looks awesome! If you guys make it, remember to send me pictures using #craftingeek To be able to share them on future videos. And now, let's talk about the giveaway. This time you can participate to win any of these kits that your looking at right now. Both of them have an instax camera which is awesome for taking pictures with your friends. 28 Weeks Later has been a great success and has received favourable reviews and essays of famous authors. It hasn’t quite received the same praise and coverage as 28 Days Later has and you just wonder why this could be? I think that surpassing an original that has been such a hit is never going to be easy. 28 Weeks Later had a similar style, yet was missing the dark, edgy atmosphere that was so present in our first film. There was always an air of dread in 28 Days Later, it really captured the post-apocalyptic theme better than anything else within the genre and it always felt raw and real throughout. The shots of a desolate London were never quite on the same par in the sequel. Maybe we felt more for the characters as well, from both films it was Jim (Cillian Murphy) that became memorable.
Our central characters include Don Harris (Robert Carlyle) and Alice Harris (Catherine Mccormack) who live in a protected cottage with fellow survivors from the Rage virus. We later meet their children, Andy Harris (Makintosh Muggleton) and Tammy Harris (Imogen Poots) who had been in Spain during the time of the outbreak. The other main character is Doyle (Jeremy Renner) who we started to feel for as a character, which didn’t stop the filmmakers from orchestrating a grisly demise. The major running theme in 28 Weeks Later is that Andy and his mother Alice both have heterochromia, which makes them dormant carriers of the Rage Virus. The film flows well and is well structured - we have that dip near the end, which was the same case as the original, but Juan Carlos Fresnadillo has kept the franchise alive and has left a perfect setting for 28 Months Later, which will see the return of the maker… Danny Boyle. Summary: Stayed loyal to the first film, which I felt was important. John Murphy provided us with the same great music and we also saw the return of the Raged zombies, which were executed with the venom they had to be. 28 Weeks Later is not quite as impressive as the original that was artistic and raw, but I think it may just have the edge as far as the entertainment factor goes. There was a completely new team on board for 28 Weeks Later and I would have thought that the expectations would have been a little clouded, yet fans of the original I am sure would have been pleasantly surprised and this has been reflected in the general ratings from the critics and the general public. Kudos to the Spanish filmmakers, 28 Weeks Later has been a commendable sequel and addition to the horror genre.
